Mats Zetterqvist, professor of chamber music at Edsberg Manor, has led students at the Royal College of Music in London in a rehearsal of Mendelssohn's 5th symphony, together with trombonist and hourly paid KMH lecturer Hakan Bjorkman and oboist Kai Frömbgen.

This is done in collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe COE's training academy. The project has included instrumental and chamber music master classes and ends Thursday, November 24 with a performance of the symphony without a conductor.

The project is a follow up to last autumn's project with Beethoven's Second Symphony which Mats Zetterqvist then led together with flutist Clara Andrada and timpanist John Chimes from the COE.
