New Sound Made is one of Sweden's largest jazz festivals. May 16 to 18 the stages at Kägelbanan (the Bowling Line) at the Southern Theater in Stockholm are filled with new tones and sounds, for the eleventh consecutive year.

New Sound Made is organized by KMH students and offers forty acts interspersed at Kägelbanan's two scenes.

New Sound Made intense festival days run from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and includes something for everyone.

Common to all festival acts is the love of improvisation and innovation. Here is a wide range of genres and styles, from free jazz to heavy swinging pop. Borders are blurred, personal musical expressions and worlds open up. Finely tuned as well as messy, subtle as well as exuberant.

Free entrance. Welcome to New Sound Made in 2016!
