Amalie Stalheim, cello student at the Master's program at the Department of Classical Music at Edsberg is this year's scholarship fellow in classical music of the Anniversary Foundation of The Nordic First St. Johannis Lodge. The scholarship is 80 000 SEK and was distributed at a ceremony on April 16 at the Masonic Lodge of Stockholm.

Emma Johansson, piano student at the Master's program at the Department of Classical Music at Edsberg, has received the Fredrika Bremer League music scholarship which will be awarded at the Båstad Chamber Music Festival in the summer.

As the criteria specify: "The scholarship goes to a younger creative role model in the field of music, preferably with chamber music character, who is considered very promising and with great potential."

Filip Graden, cello student at the Bachelor's program at the Department of Classical Music at Edsberg, has received the "Carolina Németh memory scholarship".

Carina Németh was the accounting firm PwC's sponsorship and event manager. In this capacity, she participated actively in organizing annual music events, such as the Conductor Prize, Advent Concerts in the Stockholm Cathedral and the Hedvig Eleonora Church with the Stockholm Sinfonietta. Carina passed away December 11, 2011 and in connection with her funeral a memorial fund was set up on PwC's initiative: a fund which distributes one music scholarship per year.

John Nalan, piano student at the Bachelor's program at the Department of Classical Music at Edsberg, has received the title of Young Steinway Artist. He is the second Swede who has received the award. The first was Henrik Måwe in 2010.
